Now that we’re in the final stretch of the year, it’s time to start thinking about what games you might have missed and what 2019 has in store for you. PS5 is coming, and with it comes new hardware, new tech, and a whole lot more.
However, there’s no need to panic just yet as we have plenty of games to look forward to in the coming year. If you’re anything like us, then you’ve been anxiously waiting for the next generation of video gaming consoles (or at least as anxiously as someone who hasn’t gotten their hands on a new console since 2016 will ever be able to)

Assassin’s Creed: Beyond Good and Evil
Don’t expect a clean transition from current consoles to PS5 because it won’t be happening. There will be a transition period, of course, however, it won’t involve the PS5 at all. Instead, what we can expect to see is the next generation of the Assassin’s Creed series.
Although the Assassins Creed series has been around since 2007, the series has certainly matured in the past few years. And with it, the series’ focus on more mature themes has also become more prominent. With references to the current political climate of the world becoming more and more prominent, it only makes sense to expand the series’ scope even further.
One thing is for sure, whatever Ubisoft does with the Assassins Creed series, we will definitely see the transition to PS5. The series is the flagship of the franchise, and it’s only natural that we’re going to see Assassins Creed on the PS5.
Days Gone
Like with most next-generation consoles, we can expect to see the PS5 as a launch title for the system. Given that the PS5 is just over a year away, we can expect to see the system launch with a number of popular titles. One of those titles is Days Gone. Developed by Bend Studio, Days Gone is the latest in a long line of zombie games.
However, that doesn’t mean that the game is a carbon copy of those games. Indeed, the game is set in the future, meaning that it’ll offer a unique take on the zombie genre. Days Gone is set in a post-apocalyptic future overrun by zombies. The game follows the story of Deacon St. John, a motorcycle gang member who embarks on a journey to find his daughter.
The game is an open-world adventure, where players will find themselves fighting both zombies and people who wish to use them for their own purposes. The game offers both online co-op and offline single-player campaigns, allowing players to discover their own way through the post-apocalyptic world. It’s due for release in early 2019, so there’s still plenty of time for you to check it out before then.
Far Cry 5: Lost in Montana
Far Cry 5 was one of the most popular games of 2018 and with good reason. The game’s narrative was gripping and the gameplay was smooth and fluid. Moreover, it was the first game to offer an open world that allowed players to explore, hunt, and do as they pleased. The game was an open-world sandbox that allowed players to choose their own adventure.
Hell, Ubisoft even tried to stop players from doing what they wanted to do by saving the game if they got too close to the end. Given that the game was so well received, it would only make sense to have the developers come back with something even better in the sequel. And that’s exactly what we can expect to see.
In the sequel, we can expect to see the game’s protagonist, Joseph, transported to the Lost in Montana DLC. The DLC will see Joseph transported to the wild west, where he’ll be forced to survive in the wilderness. And what’s more, the DLC will feature a number of tractors that the player can use to travel across the wilderness. Given that the game was so successful, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Ubisoft bring the series to the PS5 as well.
Ghost of Tsushima
Perhaps the most unexpected PS5 game that we can expect to see is Ghost of Tsushima. The game was developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and was developed exclusively for the PS4. However, the game was also released for PC and Xbox One as well. The game is based on a Japanese legend, in which a warrior named Tsushima is forced to take revenge on his clan members.
The game follows Tsushima in the aftermath of a war that took his clan members away. And although the game was developed for the PS4, it’s not hard to imagine the developers porting the game to the PS5. The game features an open world that players are free to explore, complete missions, and unlock new weapons. The game also allows players to tame and ride wild animals, allowing for even more freedom. The game is set for a 2019 release, so it’s likely that the game will also be available for the PS5 when it does arrive.
Gran Turismo 7-8-9 (or 10)

Gran Turismo is one of the most popular series of all time. However, the series has been around for a while, and with every new generation of consoles, the series has been postponed. The series has also been criticized for its unrealistic car models, which is likely a factor in the series’ lack of popularity. Given that the series has been around for a few years now, it would be foolish not to see the series launch on the PS5.
After all, the series has been around for a number of years, and the PS5 is just around the corner. The series has also been criticized for being unrealistic and unrealistic, so expect a more realistic take in the PS5 version of the game. The game is set for a 2019 release, so it’s likely that the game will be available for the PS5 when it does release.
Marvel’s Avengers game (maybe?)
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the most popular film series of all time. And the success of these films has led the studio to bring many popular superheroes to the big screen, including Spider-Man, Black Panther, Black Widow, and Captain Marvel. However, many of these heroes also have comic books and have been missing from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The MCU has also been criticized for being too dark and too violent, so it would be refreshing to see the superheroes brought to the PS5 in a more light-hearted manner. Marvel’s Avengers game is one of the most popular Marvel comics, so it would be no surprise to see the game make the transition to the PS5. The game is set for a 2019 release, so it’s likely that the game will be available for the PS5 when it does release.
